Ryan Shabaneh
I'm a CS student at the University of Toronto doing multi-agent RL research in Prof. Zhijing Jin's lab, with interests in AI alignment and post-training. On the engineering side, I build ML and backend infrastructure: GPU kernels in WGSL, LLM serving and eval tooling at CI Financial, and a distributed job queue in Go. I'm also a member of UofT ICPC and spend much of my spare time on competitive programming.
When I close my laptop, I like to spend my time golfing, trail running, playing retro games, or hoping what I'm baking in the oven turns out as intended.
